Six checkpoints are set up around Kazakhstan’s capital. They are located in the direction of the cities of Karagandy, Kokshetau, Pavlodar and Kosshy, as well as the villages of Korgalzhyn and Astrakhanka. This was announced by the city police department. Nur-Sultan puts in place restrictions on entering and exiting the city from 23 pm to 7 am. An exception is made for those involved in sustaining the main city of the country.
“Entry into the city is allowed at a specified time with special passes for those who are involved in sustaining the capital. The current operational situation is stable. I would advise the city population to maintain order, stay at home, monitor the whereabouts of their children, and not visit crowded places. All the measures taken are aimed at ensuring law and order, and accordingly, protecting the safety of citizens,” said Yerzhan Sadenov, Head of Police Department of Nur-Sultan City.
