The implementation of a large-scale project “Marathon of Good Deeds” continues in Nur-Sultan. According to the capital’s mayoral office, the work in this direction is underway with the participation of volunteers and initiative groups. A total of more than 160,000 city residents have received the support within the social projects since the beginning of the year, said representative of Nur-Sultan’s mayoral office Dauren Babamuratov at a special briefing. This year, eight institutions opened in the city to work with socially vulnerable groups of the population. Among them are rehabilitation centers, family support center, multidisciplinary public service center, tailoring center and an educational facility. Over 1,500 women have already been trained there. The mayoral office has launched more than 30 social projects since the beginning of the year, the speaker reported.
“We work with everyone individually, work on social issues that can be resolved within the law, including in education, healthcare, issues of receiving social assistance, benefits, targeted social assistance and so on. We work with various first-time endeavors for entrepreneurs and others. That is, the work is constantly underway in all these categories in the city of Nur-Sultan,” said Dauren Babamuratov, Head of Internal Policy Department of the Nur-Sultan Mayoral Office.
