Nobel Fest: world science week to take place in Kazakhstan this fall

The largest scientific and educational event returns to Kazakhstan this fall. Nobel Fest will take place in the country’s capital from October 26 to 29 online. World famous scientists, researchers and innovators will take part in the festival. They will speak in studios in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. Over 5,000 participants from 70 countries will be able to find answers to high-profile issues, for example, what new global trends the pandemic has launched.

“Since the topic of the October festival is “Future is Now”, audience will see presentations of such famous innovation experts as Jonathan Medved – the founder of the Israeli Silicon Valley, Yuval Noah Harari – a renowned historian and philosopher. And traditionally, dozens of Nobel Prize winners, international experts and scientists will perform as well,” said Batikhan Kalibekov, Head of Projects at the Nobel Fest.

As part of the third Nobel Fest, students of the Central Asian region will receive a unique opportunity to literally learn about how history is made, how discoveries, which affect the development of all mankind, are made, what knowledge our contemporaries need to have. All this is in lectures from the laureates of Nobel Prize in innovations, chemistry, physics, cosmology, economy, education and technology.
