Mountain guide training underway in Kazakhstan

Mountain guides are being trained in Kazakhstan. 32 guides are currently undergoing training in the Zhambyl region. They will accompany travelers in conquering peaks over 4,000 meters high. According to experts, mountain guides will help boost the region’s tourism potential and contribute to the development and promotion of ecotourism. The courses will be taught by professional guides and leading industry experts. Notably, mountain tourism is one of the key areas of the economy in the Zhambyl region.

«The training consists of two stages. The first stage includes theoretical classes, followed by ten practical sessions. We started accepting applications on March 4 and posted all the information on our social media page,» noted Moldir Orazaliyeva, Director of the «Taraz-Tourism» Tourist Information Center.
