Kurultai elections: Kazakh citizens can vote from home

On the day of the Kurultai elections, Kazakh citizens will also be able to exercise their right to vote without leaving home. This option is available to voters who are unable to visit a polling station for valid reasons, including health conditions, caring for an ill family member, or living in remote settlements without polling stations. To use this option, voters must submit a written application to their precinct election commission by 12:00 p.m. on August 23. Election officials will then visit the voter with a portable ballot box. Ballots will be issued upon presentation of an identity document. The secrecy of the vote is guaranteed.
