Kazakhstan has launched Qazaq Creative, a new digital platform connecting
professionals across the country’s creative industries. More than 700 users
from all regions of the country have already joined the platform. It serves as
a one-stop hub where creators can showcase their portfolios and projects. The
platform also provides information on government support, grants, investment
opportunities, educational and accelerator programs. According to the Creative
Industries Development Fund, Qazaq Creative will help creators attract funding
and promote their ideas. For example, emerging musicians can receive support to
produce and release their original music.
«First,
creators can come to us, and we can advise them on where to do their
post-production. Second, they can receive funding to help complete their
projects. And if they don’t have a way to release their music but want it
available across all major streaming platforms, the Fund has its own record
label that can help with distribution,» said
Almas Sagynuly, Deputy Chairman
of the Creative Industries
Development Fund.
