Kazakhstan has once again outlined its position regarding Israel’s military actions in Qatar. The statement was delivered on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev by Mazhilis Chairman Yerlan Koshanov at the extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha. During the meeting, he emphasized that Kazakhstan supports the resolution of international conflicts through dialogue, in accordance with the UN Charter and international law. President Tokayev has consistently called for an immediate end to hostilities in Gaza and for humanitarian assistance to its residents. This work continues in cooperation with the Islamic Organization for Food Security.
«Kazakhstan strongly condemns Israel’s
military actions in the State of Qatar. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was the
first to state this position and to express strong support for Qatar. Whatever
the purpose of the attack, such actions are completely unacceptable. They
constitute a violation of the sovereign rights of the State of Qatar and run
counter to the principles of international law. Such an attack undermines not
only the security of a single country, but also the peace and sovereignty of
all states that uphold the foundations of the international order,» Koshanov said.
