President Tokayev receives heads of international gymnastics organizations

Construction of Central Asia’s largest gymnastics center has begun in Almaty, as announced during a meeting between President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the heads of international gymnastics organizations at Akorda. The Head of State noted that Kazakhstan has extensive experience in organizing major sporting events and is ready to consider joint initiatives for hosting them and sports development. International guests praised the achievements of Kazakh athletes, who continue to represent the country with distinction on the world stage. The Head of State awarded the Order of Dostyk, First Class, to President of the International Gymnastics Federation Morinari Watanabe, while President of the Asian Gymnastics Union Abdulrahman Al-Shathri received the Order of Dostyk, Second Class.
