Kazakhstan plans to train 30,000 civil servants in
artificial intelligence (AI) skills by the end of the year. The Kazakh Ministry
of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry developed the AI
Qyzmet course in collaboration with the Agency for Civil Service Affairs.
Participants in the program are learning to use leading platforms, including
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Mistral. With the help of neural networks,
specialists will be able to optimize their work processes.
«The course includes six modules and 32 video lessons and is
available both online and offline. It is hosted on the Astana Hub platform and
was launched in May of this year. To date, 11,382 civil servants have completed
the course and received their certificates,» said Almira Baigazina, expert at
the Education and Personnel Training Department of the Artificial Intelligence
and Innovation Development Committee, Kazakh Ministry of Digital Development,
Innovation and Aerospace Industry.
One of the certificate holders, Arman Kalyshev, Head of Division
at the Educational and Ideological Work Department of the Ministry of Defense,
says he is already actively applying the knowledge he gained. The course
included tools essential to his work, such as planning, information processing,
and analysis.
«A new AI agent, Army KZ, is currently being implemented and
is in the testing phase. At our division, psychological and educational
informational support is available. The AI assists in processing this data,
analyzing the results, and supporting other ongoing tasks,» Kalyshev said.
