16 Kazakh universities are included in the QS World University Rankings 2023. It is compiled and published annually by the British company specializing in the analysis of higher education institutions around the world. The experts compared and evaluated the work of about 1,500 educational organizations. Five domestic universities managed to get into the TOP 500. These are Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Satbayev University, Auezov South Kazakhstan State University and Kazakh National Agrarian University.
