Kazakhstan to launch early forest fire detection system

A system of early detection of forest fires is planned to be launched in Kazakhstan. It will enable real-time identification of fire hazards and prompt transmission of information. A 24-hour video monitoring system and a network of autonomous smoke detectors will be installed in national parks, reserves, and specially protected areas. In addition, there are plans to use drones, which will provide the decision-making center with information and help coordinate fire suppression efforts. The aircraft will also be utilized to establish safe evacuation routes and to detect and rescue victims.
