Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited fire station
No. 23 in the capital, which was built using high-quality modular materials in
a short time. The facility includes offices, a dispatch center, a training
room, and a rest area, as well as a hangar for specialized vehicles. President
Tokayev was shown modern firefighting and rescue equipment, along with a
demonstration of firefighting drones designed for high-rise buildings. The Head
of State emphasized that such modern modular fire stations should operate in
all regions of the country, and therefore this project needs to be expanded.
Afterward, the President toured a new two-storey dormitory and congratulated the
firefighters’ families on their new homes. Notably, in two months, the
firefighters made around 200 emergency responses. The new fire station will
serve a densely populated area of Astana, which also includes important
landmarks such as the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, the Palace of
Independence, the Hazrat Sultan Mosque, and the Nurly Zhol railway station.
