Kazakhstan is expanding its export of space technologies.
The country has signed an investment
agreement to develop and implement an Earth remote sensing satellite system for
Congo. The agreement includes the creation of a satellite platform capable of
monitoring the Earth's surface with high precision and efficiency. In addition
to the platform, Kazakhstan is also offering Congo training for industry
specialists and knowledge exchange. Overall, the project is aimed at advancing
space technologies to support national security, resource monitoring,
agriculture, ecology, and urban planning in the African nation. Notably, the
signed agreement allows Congo to join the international group of Earth remote
sensing satellites, which already includes Mongolia. According to the relevant
ministry, the agreement also expands bilateral cooperation. Most importantly,
Kazakhstan is strengthening its position as a hub for effective technological
