President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a telephone conversation with
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan. President Tokayev congratulated his
Uzbek counterpart on his birthday and wished him continued success in his
official duties. President Tokayev praised Uzbekistan's achievements in
socio-economic development and commended President Mirziyoyev's personal
contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership and allied relations
between the two countries. The two leaders discussed prospects for further
cooperation in trade and economic relations, transport and logistics, as well
as cultural and humanitarian ties. They also exchanged views on current
regional and international issues and reviewed the schedule of their upcoming
meetings.
