Kazakhstan ranked 34th out of 64
countries in the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) World
Digital Competitiveness Ranking. The evaluation focuses on the performance of
ministries, particularly in providing e-government services and minimizing the
involvement of state officials, as reported by the ranking.kz analytical
center. The Ministry of Justice was recognized as the most advanced, followed
by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Labor and Social
Protection of the Population. Among the most socially oriented agencies are the
Ministries of Healthcare and Education. The Ministry of Transport stood out for
the speed and accessibility of online state services. The introduction of e-procedures
for establishing and extending disability status by the Ministry of Labor was
recognized as a leading digital project. A third of these services have been
provided online since the beginning of the year. The Ministry of Education
achieved results in half of the 10 indicators, including the development of a
digital student profile and cloud accounting. The Interior Ministry has ensured
that all police officers are equipped with video recorders.
