The law on biological safety will be developed in Kazakhstan this year. This was announced by Kazakh Health Minister Alexey Tsoy at an extended meeting of the board of the relevant ministry. Within the framework of the law implementation, amendments will be made to 38 normative legal acts. Changes will touch the development of the system for assessing, analyzing and forecasting the health status of the population, responding to threats and risks. In addition, about 55 billion tenge will be allocated from the state treasury to ensure the country’s biosafety. Also, by 2025, a concept for the digitalization of the sanitary and epidemiological service will be developed in the country.
According to Alexey Tsoy, an average salary of doctors in two years will amount to 561,000 tenge. Wages will be increased in stages, in particular this year - by 30 percent, the minister added. 222 billion tenge will be allocated for these purposes. In general, 247,000 health workers will have increased salaries.
