The Kazakh government has
approved the comprehensive plan for the development of the country’s largest
oil, gas and petrochemical projects for 2023-2027. The corresponding decree has
been signed, outlining the implementation of 20 significant projects in the oil
and gas industry, oil and gas processing, as well as in the petrochemical
sector. To this end, an investment of over $37 billion is planned to be attracted.
Additionally, there are plans to implement seven projects in geological
exploration and field development, with a total investment volume of around $10
billion. As a result, by 2027, it is planned to increase oil production to
105.5 million tonnes and gas production to 82 billion cubic meters.
