In Astana, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry announced the winners of the ninth
edition of Kazakhstan through the Eyes of Foreign Media international contest. An expert jury selected the works
of eight media representatives from different countries,
including from
Italy, Spain, Japan, Egypt, Brazil, Russia, Azerbaijan, and the Kyrgyz Republic. This year, more than 80 applications from
30 countries were submitted, which
demonstrates the growing interest of the foreign press in Kazakhstan,
organizers say. The winners
will have the opportunity to visit the cities
of Astana,
Almaty, and the Mangystau region, get acquainted with the country’s attractions and its cultural and historical
heritage, as well as attend the upcoming fifth World Nomad Games. Notably, Jibek Joly TV channel became
a partner of the contest this year.
