Kazakhstan will test 79 new materials for
road construction. They have already successfully passed laboratory tests, and
will now be used on various highway sections across the country. This will
allow specialists to determine which technologies and compositions can be applied
in real conditions during operation. This approach will not only improve the
quality of road construction but also support the development of an effective
system for selecting innovative solutions. All tests are being conducted through
the RCMbase digital platform - Kazakhstan’s unified database of road
construction materials, technologies, laboratories, and production facilities.
«We currently have 153 new technologies and
materials in the database. Of these, 41 have received green status, meaning
they are already in full implementation. This includes bitumen modification,
soil stabilization, and various technological processes, all of which are
documented with process maps,» said Yerik Amirbayev, Vice President of the Kazakhstan
Road Research Institute.
