Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart
Tokayev arrived on a state visit in Singapore and was greeted by Singaporean President
Tharman Shanmugaratnam at the Presidential Palace. The national anthems of
Kazakhstan and Singapore were played, followed by a report from the Head of the
Guard of Honor to the leaders of the two countries.
Following the ceremony, the heads
of state proceeded to the meeting room. The visit’s agenda includes several
meetings between the Kazakh President and the top leadership of Singapore, as
well as with large international companies. Also, the Head of State will
participate in the Kazakhstan-Singapore business forum.
