Kazakhstan set to increase exports to Vietnam by US$530 million

Kazakhstan is ready to increase its exports to Vietnam. The country can supply the Vietnamese market with about 90 types of processed goods of various industries worth over US$530 million, the Kazakh Ministry of Trade and Integration reports. Overall, from January to July of this year, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Vietnam grew by 3.6 percent and amounted to US$203.5 million, while the export volume amounted to almost US$28 million. The domestic producers export metals, flour, grain, dairy and meat products, and much more to Vietnam. Thus, since 2019, the volume of clothing supplies has increased significantly. Experts noted the promising areas of cooperation between the two countries include agriculture, light industry, transport, logistics, and tourism.
