Export earnings for goods made in Kazakhstan amounted to more than US$5.5 billion, and this is only for June. According to the review of the analytical center of the Kazakhstan’s Association of Financiers, in total, over the first half of the year, the proceeds from the sale of goods abroad reached US$27 billion. At the same time, import costs also increased. They totaled almost 6 percent, exceeding US$18 billion. The largest share in the overall composition is occupied by transport, equipment and chemical products. As a result, the trade surplus amounted to US$8.7 billion. According to financial analysts, this is a positive sign for the economy and means that more currency is flowing into the country than it is leaving.
