Kazakhstan’s foreign trade turnover exceeds $43 billion in four months

The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and foreign countries reached $43 billion in the first four months of 2024, with China accounting for the largest share at $9 billion, as reported by the Economic Research Institute. According to analysts, Russia follows with a turnover of around $7.5 billion, and Türkiye with  $6.5 billion. Notably, exports from Kazakhstan during this period surpassed $25 billion, mainly comprising oil, ores, uranium, and wheat. These and other products are purchased by Italy, China, and Russia. Meanwhile, foreign countries supply Kazakhstan with medicines, aircraft, smartphones, car bodies, and automobiles.
