Kazakhstan’s electronic labour exchange portal launches video interview service

Kazakh employers can now conduct job vacancy interviews with candidates remotely via video call. The conversations will be held by company managers or HR representatives on the electronic labor exchange portal, according to the Workforce Development Center. No additional applications need to be installed for this purpose. The service is entirely free and available in the personal account. A company representative can invite an applicant to participate in a video interview by sending an invitation that specifies the proposed date and time.

“The video interview format on the portal will enable employers to save time, conduct multi-stage selection of candidates, prevent postponing meetings when candidates are away, and also reduce the vacancy filling time,” said Aigerim Myrzaly, spokesperson for the Workforce Development Center.
