Kazakhstan has resumed supplying flour and grain to Afghanistan, the country’s Agriculture Ministry reports. To date, almost 200,000 tonnes of flour and 33,000 tonnes of grain have been exported. Kazakh and Afghan business partners have long established business ties. However, due to recent political developments, the shipment of products has been suspended. Afghanistan has previously been the main export market for these goods and a strategic partner for Kazakhstan.
