Kazakhstan
and Qatar have agreed to develop military cooperation. The Mazhilis, a Lower House
of the Kazakh Parliament, has ratified the corresponding agreement signed last
year. This document will enable the two countries to exchange experience in
military education, science, and medicine. Additionally, the parties have
planned collaboration as part of cultural and sporting events, as well as
consultations on peacekeeping operations and combat training issues. Under the
agreement, the authorized bodies of Kazakhstan and Qatar will create a joint
working group. It will determine, organize, and coordinate military
interaction. It is worth reminding that the country has signed similar
agreements with 20 states.
