Kazakhstan plans to automate veterinary control processes

Kazakhstan plans to automate veterinary control processes. According to the country’s Ministry of Agriculture, the development of a livestock traceability system will lead to a significant improvement in the country’s epizootic safety. Thus, it is proposed to issue inspection certificates with QR codes containing comprehensive information about the animals at meat processing enterprises and trading locations. The pilot project has already been launched in Atyrau, Akmola, Karagandy, Zhambyl, Turkistan, Almaty, Zhetisu regions and Almaty city. Additionally, new digital products have been integrated into the system, allowing for the automatic transmission of primary and reliable data directly into the main information systems, such as VETMOBILE, TortTulik, and others.
