Kazakhstan, Oman aim to expand cooperation

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said. The Head of State emphasized that Oman is a reliable partner of Kazakhstan in the Arab world, and the country is committed to strengthening cooperation. The two sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral relations, with particular focus on energy, metallurgy, logistics, agriculture, and digitalization. President Tokayev noted that he looks forward to the Sultan of Oman’s visit to Astana and once again expressed support for the brotherly people during the current difficult period in the Middle East. Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said confirmed Oman’s readiness to further deepen relations. In recognition of his contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation, the Kazakh President awarded him the Dostyk Order of the First Degree.
