Kazakhstan launches trains for 80th Victory Day anniversary

Thematic trains decorated in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory have set off from Astana’s railway stations. The carriages feature portraits of legendary figures – Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, Aliya Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova, Rakymzhan Koshkarbayev, and other front-line soldiers. The special decoration pays tribute to the heroes’ exploits and immerses passengers in the atmosphere of that time. In addition, the lapels of train conductors’ jackets are adorned with Kazakhstan’s Victory ribbons. The trains will run on the Astana-Atbasar and Astana-Almaty routes until the end of May.

«Through this creative design and beautiful execution, we gave our passengers the opportunity to feel this atmosphere. We wanted to create the atmosphere of the Victory train, showing to our passengers, especially young ones, an illustration of our Kazakh heroes who played a direct role in securing Victory,» said Nariman Dyussekeyev, Press Secretary of the Passenger Transportation company.
