Kazakhstan launches platform for preserving historical heritage

Kazakhstan is actively working on the digitization of its historical and cultural heritage. As part of this program, the information and educational platform Qazaq Culture is already operational. This platform functions in eight languages and showcases the country’s cultural values. It is accessible to both Kazakh citizens and a foreign audience. Visitors now have the opportunity to explore rare exhibits, relics, and works of art, which were previously available only through limited exhibitions and museum displays. Thanks to digitization, virtual tours of museums and theaters are now possible. This initiative will help preserve important cultural heritage sites and make them accessible for future generations.

«As part of the efforts to scale up Qazaq Culture, a separate module will be launched, featuring digitized historical and cultural heritage sites of our country, valuable exhibits, and rare relics,» noted Kazakh Minister of Culture and Information  Aida Balayeva.
