Kazakhstan will train Masters of Arts in ethno-political science. This is an unprecedented experience in the country’s higher education system. The initiative has no analogues in Central Asia. A two-year training program was created as part of the unique project. The possibility of training is provided for foreign nationals along with Kazakh students. Classes will be conducted in Kazakh, Russian and English, and lectures will be given by professors of Political Science Department and Kazakhstan’s Ethnic Assembly of the Eurasian National University.
“Kazakhstan is a multinational country. Therefore, of course, it is necessary to study the history of peoples and ethnic groups living in the state. It is also planned to analyze ethno-political tendencies in the global political process. The main factor in ensuring the political stability of any country is an effective, optimal solution to ethno-political relations. In this regard, attention to this problem is an important step for any state,” said Bagysh Gabdulina, Acting Head of Political Science Department at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
