Kazakhstan intends to provide state support for preserving domestic horse breed

The Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture has made amendments to a bill, providing state support to horse breeders to preserve the Kazakh breed of sports horses. According to the upgraded document, farmers will receive subsidies for the purchase of fodder and other necessary needs. This, in turn, envisages an increase in expenditures from the state and local budgets. Therefore, the relevant ministry is currently conducting calculations, which will be further approved by the state budget commission. It is worthy to note that to date, there are about 270 Kostanai sport horse breeds in Kazakhstan.
