New buses on gas fuel replenished the city’s public transport fleet. Mayor of Almaty Bakytzhan Sagintayev on his Instagram account told that systematic update and switch to the environmentally friendly fuel of municipal and public transport are conducted in order to improve the city’s environment and quality of passenger transportation.
The new 12-meter buses with a capacity of 90 people are equipped with three doors, one of which has a retractable platform for people with disabilities. The buses are equipped with automatic video surveillance system, passenger traffic counting and sensors for monitoring driver fatigue.
