Kazakhstan increases railway fleet capacity

The production capacity of the Kazakhstan Wagon Building Company has increased by 2.5 times from 100 to 240 cars per month. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov was briefed on the work of the domestic manufacturer during his visit to the Pavlodar region. Today, the company is fulfilling the contract for the supply of 3,000 gondola cars ahead of schedule. It also pays special attention to improving the qualifications of its specialists.    

«Our plant employs around 800 specialists. This year, as part of the Year of Working Professions, we opened an educational institution on-site. We are currently working there to enhance the qualifications of all our employees,» said Zholaman Akhmediyev, chief engineer at the Kazakhstan Wagon Building Company.

«At this plant, I am responsible for preparing and accepting technical documentation to ensure seamless production. This year, the President declared the Year of Working Professions, and we already feel supported,» noted Renat Timur, assembly equipment engineer at the Kazakhstan Wagon Building Company.
