Kazakhstan implements social projects using returned assets

The Kazakh government has decided to commence the construction of a new school in the Ulytau region, funded by returned assets. A total of 1.2 billion tenge will be allocated for this modern educational institution, which will accommodate 80 students, with construction set to begin in the first quarter of this year. Additionally, two billion tenge from returned assets will finance a new kindergarten for 280 children in northern Kazakhstan. The first project is expected to increase the number of student places, while the second will reduce the shortage of preschool places. Under President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s directive, several socially significant projects are being launched across various regions, financed through the Special State Fund in accordance with the relevant law. These include a new sports complex, a music school, a sports center for gifted young athletes, and a rehabilitation and training center for people with special needs, among other initiatives.
