Kazakhstan implements artificial intelligence in state language

The startup ecosystem in Kazakhstan is actively developing, with a growing number of innovative projects in the Kazakh language. These projects promote the country’s culture, traditions, and national heritage. To achieve this, digital startups utilize various tools, from educational platforms and mobile applications to multimedia projects for children and teenagers based on customs, legends, and folklore. Of course, among the most in-demand technologies are those powered by artificial intelligence, aimed at expanding the use of the Kazakh language. One such development is the QazaqLingo app— a unique language assistant designed for learning the state language.

«This year, we are launching QazaqLingo, developed based on our Kazakh language self-study program. It consists of three levels - beginner, intermediate, and advanced - designed using a methodology familiar to many from learning English. There is a well-known course called English Grammar - News, and we found this approach interesting. We invested a significant amount of time and resources, involving methodologists and specialists in its development. Now, based on this development, we are creating the application,» said Rauan Kenzhekhanuly, President of the «Qazaq Tili» International Society.
