The role of artificial intelligence in
managing urban processes was discussed by experts at an international
scientific-practical conference in the capital of Turkmenistan. The forum
participants primarily considered the potential and effectiveness of digital
technologies in preventing emergency situations and enhancing the security of
smart cities. Additionally, scientists and specialists from more than 20
countries, including Kazakhstan, Türkiye, China, India, Romania, and Russia,
shared their experience in applying solutions to upgrade urban infrastructure,
optimize transportation systems, and improve the environmental situation in metropolises
in an online format.
«We have the opportunity to exchange
experiences. Of course, the technologies presented help improve the quality of
life. These include water purification technologies, smart transportation
technologies, smart homes, and controlled lighting systems. Additionally, there
are unmanned systems for autonomous transportation. Therefore, there is much to
learn and share in terms of information,» noted Dmitry Savkin, Vice-Rector of
the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, Russia.
