March 1 marks Day of Gratitude in Kazakhstan. It was on this day when the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was created. The country has been celebrating the holiday since 2016. Now the Gratitude Day became a symbol of the unity of the multinational country. This holiday is aimed at instilling in the younger generation tolerance, respect and friendliness for each other, as well as strengthening interethnic harmony and relations in Kazakhstan. This year, the Day of Gratitude is dedicated to doctors, police officers and teachers.
