Kazakhstan is increasing the volume of exports to China. The event ‘Export to China - SCO Choice’ has become a key platform for promoting domestic products to the Chinese market. Kazakh Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev participated in the event, noting that Kazakhstan is set to expand the range of products being supplied. Additionally, the country aims to steadily develop investment cooperation, including industrial collaboration, logistics, and the implementation of cutting-edge and eco-friendly technologies. Moreover, Kazakhstan proposes applying these innovations in the creation of joint production facilities. It is worth noting that China is one of Kazakhstan’s largest trading partners. Over the past three years, bilateral trade has shown a steady growth trend, increasing from $41 billion in 2023 to $49 billion in 2025. Regional cooperation plays a significant role in this development.
«Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and China’s Shandong Province reached $6 billion last year. In the first two months of this year, we are already seeing growth of up to 46%, which reflects strong mutual interest. Importantly, this is not just about buying and selling or trade relations. It is about joint projects and cooperation in industry, energy, logistics, and transport,» noted Kazakh Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev.
A National Pavilion of Kazakhstan was presented at the
exhibition held as part of the event. The display showcased the country’s
diverse export potential, offering visitors an opportunity to explore products
by domestic manufacturers. Representatives of Kazakh companies also held a series
of B2B meetings with Chinese businesses.
