The Kazakh government has approved an action plan to
explain the Constitution adopted in the nationwide referendum on March 15. The corresponding decree was signed
by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. The document is aimed at increasing the
legal literacy of Kazakh citizens and
implementing legislative measures. The
plan includes 36 activities across three areas: organizational measures,
informational and explanatory work, and legal support for the implementation of
the country’s Basic Law. As part of the plan, the text of the
Constitution will be distributed in all formats, including adapted versions for
persons with disabilities and on electronic platforms. It is also planned to hold training
seminars, update school and university curricula, develop courses such as «Fundamentals of the Constitution» and «Law
and Order», and create
a comprehensive media plan. In addition, current
laws and regulations will be analyzed, and strategies and concepts will be
updated.
