Kazakhstan allocates additional 30 billion tenge for livestock breeding

The Kazakh government has allocated 30 billion tenge from the reserves to support agricultural producers. These funds, provided in the form of targeted transfers, will be directed to the Abai, Zhetisu, Akmola, Almaty, Zhambyl, Mangystau, Pavlodar, East, West and North Kazakhstan regions. The funds will be utilized to subsidize the development of livestock breeding, increase productivity and product quality in this sector.

“This year, the government has allocated 494 billion tenge from all sources to subsidize the agro-industrial complex. In the near future, it is planned to allocate an additional 30 billion tenge for investment subsidies and subsidizing the interest rate on loans and leasing,” said Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Dinara Alimova.
