Kazakhconcert opens new season

Residents and guests of the Kazakh capital will have the opportunity to enjoy a grand musical event this fall. Creative collaborations from around the world, including musical bands from Turkey, Japan, Germany and Hungary, will come to Astana to take part in the Alem Saz International Music Festival scheduled for September 28 to October 3. The event will be organized as part the opening of the 63rd season of Kazakhconcert. Aktoty Raimkulova, the organization’s head, mentioned their preparation for the Koshpendiler Alemi (World of Nomads) festival, another event slated for December in Astana. The countries of the Turkic world, including Turkey, Kazakhstan, Yakutia, Hungary and Kyrgyzstan, will take part in the unique festival. Raimkulova also shared the nearest plans for foreign tours of Kazakhconcert artists.

“We are planning international tours as part of the 63rd concert season. We hope that our artists, stars, soloists, and musical bands will soon go abroad and perform solo and gala concerts in China, Turkey, France, the United States, and Serbia,” she said.

The previous concert season of Kazakhconcert artists, musicians, and soloists was quite eventful, featuring 35 concerts and two shows. They performed in the U.S., Brazil, South Korea, the countries of  Central Asia and Europe, where they presented the musical heritage of the Kazakh people during the world tour.
