A Kazakh startup won first place and the title
of «Best Team» following the third cohort of the Hero Training acceleration
program in Silicon Valley. The domestic developer outperformed 70 other
participants from 26 countries. Notably, this victory marks a historic first
for Kazakhstan at Draper University. According to Astana Hub, the Beyim Tech
platform has been recognized as the best innovative solution in the field of
digital education. Applications for the program were submitted by 49 startups
from Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan. After a rigorous selection
process, 10 finalists were chosen. During the five-week training, top
technology mentors, venture investors, and experts conducted a series of
workshops for them. As a result, the startups improved their products,
established partnerships with foreign companies, and even concluded deals in
the U.S. market.
«Over the past two years, we have sent a total
of 27 startups from our region to the program. The startups have attracted $2.7
million in investments, secured their first clients and investors, and are also
receiving active support within the Silk Road Innovation Hub, located in
Silicon Valley, in Palo Alto. This is a community of technology entrepreneurs
developing their businesses in the U.S.,» noted Tanat Uskembayev, Managing
Director of Astana Hub.
