Most often, Kazakh residents purchase clothes, footwear and sports gear using online shopping. The share of such users amounts to almost 63%. This is followed by purchases of food, household goods and medicines. The CIS countries comprise 30% of providers of goods and services to Kazakh citizens online. This data is provided by Finprom.kz.
Overall, analysts note that e-commerce has grown by 57% in the last year alone. And it makes sense, because consumers, who fear for their health and don’t want to spend a lot of time in public places, have begun shopping more actively online. Contrary to expectations, Karagandy region is breaking all records in online purchases. The Kazakh capital of Nur-Sultan is in the second place and the Mangystau region is in the third place.
