Services of egov.kz platform to be available in 23 countries

Public services are now available abroad online. Kazakh citizens abroad can receive five new services on the e-gov platform, said Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry Bagdat Mussin at a reporting meeting in front of the population. Kazakh residents can apply in 23 countries for marriage or divorce, registration of birth, death, change of name, surname, middle name. The list of the countries will be expanded soon. The innovations also touched upon foreign nationals who can open a business without coming to Kazakhstan.

“Foreign citizens can come to our embassies abroad and get an individual identification number and an electronic digital signature after submitting the relevant documents. They can open their business even without coming to Kazakhstan through the EDS. Thus, we are creating favorable conditions to develop investment climate,” Mussin said.

The “eGov Mobile” application already has 15 types of digital documents. The integration of the service with second-tier banks is being developed now. This will allow receiving services via mobile apps of financial institutions without leaving home.
