Kazakh Prime Minister chairs Asset Recovery Commission meeting

Kazakhstan is set to build a sports complex for gifted children, as well as rehabilitation and training centers for children with musculoskeletal disorders and people with special needs. The construction of these social facilities is planned to be funded by transferring more than 525 billion tenge to the state under an agreement approved by the Asset Recovery Commission. The funds will also be directed to a special state fund. Overall, since the start of the year, the Commission has approved such agreements worth over 900 billion tenge. With these funds, the construction of social infrastructure facilities has already commenced in the country. Notably, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev previously emphasized that the returned illegally acquired assets should serve the benefit of the state.
