On June 22 and 23, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay an official visit to Brussels at the invitation of the President of the European Council. Tokayev will hold talks with António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The discussions are expected to focus on prospects for further strengthening the enhanced partnership and cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU. He will also meet Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever. In addition, Tokayev will address a Kazakhstan–EU roundtable attended by executives of major European companies. The visit programme also includes a series of bilateral meetings.
