Today at the Akorda presidential palace, President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Martin Schlegel, Chairman of the Governing Board of
the Swiss National Bank, discussed the development of cooperation between
Kazakhstan and the Swiss financial institution. The Head of State commended the
technical support provided by Swiss specialists to the Kazakh National Bank in
areas such as risk management and payment systems. For his part, Schlegel proposed
establishing joint efforts in the field of digital finance. The parties also
discussed measures to bolster the foreign exchange market and enhance
confidence in national currencies.
