President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed the prospects for
cooperation between Kazakhstan’s National Olympic Committee and the
International Olympic Committee (IOC) with Kit McConnell. The Head of State emphasized
the IOC’s key role in promoting Olympic values and supporting athletes. He
reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to further collaboration to advance domestic
sports. The IOC Sports Director commended the active participation of
Kazakhstan’s sports community in promoting the Olympic movement and wished the
Kazakh national team new achievements.
