President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Supreme
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, received Defense Minister
Dauren Kossanov who presented
a report on the results of the ministry’s work over the past
year. The President was briefed
on the state of the Kazakh army. The discussion focused on combat
readiness, the introduction of digital solutions, and the modernization of
military infrastructure. Attention was also paid to discipline and law and
order within the Armed Forces. The
Head of State set specific tasks for the Minister, including maintaining the
army’s combat readiness and strengthening military discipline.
